Emma Stone thinks Ryan Gosling is seasoned just right.
“You’re looking for spice, Jacob’s got it,” the actress says of her Crazy, Stupid, Love costar’s lothario character in a behind-the-scenes interview included in the film’s DVD and Blu-ray package, out Tuesday.
“He’s got a whole rack,” Stone continues. “He’s paprika, you know? He’s allspice.”
In this exclusive sneak peek at the bonus footage, Stone explains her character’s reaction to Gosling’s seductive ways—and surely you don’t mind another look at some steamy scenes from the film, right?!
Great news! “Crazy, Stupid, Love” is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, November 1st! You can pre-order the movie over at Amazon.com now, or pick it up in stores in November!
“Crazy, Stupid Love” which stars Emma Stone, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore is now out in theaters! Stop by your local theaters to check it out this weekend to help support the film and its cast!
Before Emma Stone can begin that buzzed-about romance with Ryan Gosling, she’s got another boyfriend in the film. The lucky (and eventually unlucky) man who loses her? Not your typical Hollywood beefcake jerk, but instead, the unexpectedly hilarious Josh Groban.
Yes, that Josh Groban.
The contemporary classical singer has a supporting role in the film as a lame lawyer with a terrible taste in cakes and celebratory restaurants. No spoilers here, but there is a scene that didn’t get included in the movie: his kiss with Stone.
“At the end of one of our scenes the directors came up to us and said, You know, this is feeling a little goofy. Let’s just try to make this more believable with a kiss at the end,’” he told GQ. And I’m thinking, Holy sh*t. That wasn’t in the script. I’ve never kissed on camera before. What does that mean? What do I have to do? I didn’t take that class in college.”
So what happened? Thankfully, his co-star came to the rescue.
“And Emma’s just this total pro. She pulls out her lip-gloss, and says, ‘It’s cherry. That cool with you?” he remembered. “I mean, that kiss shall forever be my deer in ‘Stand By Me’; my moment alone, no one will ever be able to treasure it but me.”
Lucky guy.
Groban’s actually got a number of screen credits to his name, with appearances in “Ally McBeal,” and voice work in “American Dad” and “Robot Chicken.” He also guest hosted an episode of “Regis and Kelly,” which, presumably, did not involve him doing a Regis impression and kissing Kelly. Unless that footage got cut, too.

Warner Bros. has released a last minute second (and more risque) trailer for it’s upcoming comedy Crazy Stupid Love, which is in theaters next Friday. The film stars Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon.
Actress Emma Stone pulled out of plans to re-enact Jennifer Grey’s famous Dirty Dancing leap in her new movie - because bad memories from a childhood gym class prompted a panic attack on-set.
When film fans check out the scene in Crazy Stupid Love, it will look as if Ryan Gosling lifts the actress aloft - just like Patrick Swayze did in the classic romance - but Stone reveals that’s not her.
She tells BlogTalkRadio.com, “I had a panic attack so that was a stunt double from a distance. We tried a couple of times but it didn’t work out for me. Ryan didn’t do anything wrong. He thinks that I was afraid he was gonna drop me.
“When I was seven, I was in gymnastics class and I was standing on the parallel bars and the woman let go of my ankles and I fell forward and broke both of my arms on the mat. And I had this dormant primal fear I didn’t realise until he (Gosling) was lifting me over his head over the front and my arms immediately went, ‘No!’ My body knew that this could break your arms. I really had a full scale hour-long primal panic attack. It was bizarre.
“But they were so nice to me. One of the directors, Glenn Ficarra, and Ryan were sitting with me in a bed in the house we were shooting in rubbing my back like, ‘You’re alright, we’ll get the stunt double to do it.’”
